Sire- biological father (this would be Crowfeather) Father- male figure in ones life that gives you affection, teaches things, etc. (Brambleclaw)
Crowfeather has nothing to do with Jay/Lion/Holly's lives except for the fact that he is their Sire. Brambleclaw (while he didn't know at first) essentially adopted all of them and became their father

He adopted them, yes, but I'm starting to think hat this whole " I'm not your father" thing was just a big hoax. Maybe he really did know.....

We'll find out why Hollowpaw and Antpelt were recruits to the Dark Forest.
For Antpelt, leaning towards him coming because he is friends with Breezepelt. But it sounds like Antpelt wants out. Breezepelt will probably kill him.

If Brambleclaw did know before the Gathering, then he is a great actor. Based on his reaction and constant avoidance to Squirrelflight, I don't think he did.

Leafpool tired to tell Crowfeather about the kits, but he blew her off. When Holly and bros confront him, it is an absolute shock that he had kits in Thunderclan

Holly and the bros? HAHA!
Anyways, it was an absolute shock, but that shouldn't have happened. I bet he did know about the kits before that and is a really good actor. That's what I was trying to explain before.

He might have known, because Leafpool could have told him at a different gathering. He was shocked at first, and then he tried to not believe it, but he probably still believed it anyway.

I read a fanfic called Leafpool's secret. It's not 100% accurate, but it's pretty good.
