I was thinking something on the lines of how Tallstar died... dying of old age one life at a time. Leopardstar could have had the condition again.

In "Into the wild" says Greypaw to Firepaw, that it is an honor to be mentored from Bluestar. She would normally only mentore kids from the clans deputy. Thats a bad lie, cause Frostpaw and Runningpaw both were no kin to a ThunderClan deputy. And Sandpaw, the daughter of Redtail, is Whitestorms apprentice, so there isnt any cat, who are the kid of the clans deputy AND can probably be mentored by Bluestar out of the plot. Bad fail Oo

It's not kid, it's kit.

Frostpaw and runningpaw were mentored by Bluefur. She became bluestar later. Therefore the statement could still be true.

Fireblaze: Thanks =) amberfire3: No typo. Didnt know that its no "kid" but "kit". Come from Germany^^ Mooncloud: But what has this to do with it?^^ The statement cant be true, because Frotpaw and Runningpaw both werent kits of a clan deputy. That has nothing to do with Bluestar become leader

To Graystripe the statement could be true just because he doesn't know any better. Or it could be since Bluestar became leader she never mentors anyone except a deputy's kit.
who knows.

Heres some weird stuff I've noticed in the book: ~ Speckletail was a warrior when Dappletail was an apprentice, yet Dappletail joined the elder's den first. Shouldn't it have been the other way around? ~ This is kinda not weird, but there were a total of 3 cats with Gray- in their names living in RiverClan: Graymist, Graystripe (temporarely), and Graypool ~ (I DID NOT steal this from that typo site! I have noticed it too!) In a lot of places it says "________ shrugged." Cats can't shrug, they don't have a collerbone! The Erin's made a major fail doing that ~ If Jake is Firestar's father, then who is the mother? It can't be Quince, because if it was then she would have mentioned "Rusty" in The Rise of Scourge but she never did. ~ Both Loudbelly and Shadepelt, from RiverClan, were young warriors in TDH, but in Midnight, they're featured as elders! Plus, they stay behind when the other cats make the Great Journey, because they claim their "too old" ~ Crowfur was mentioned as an elder in one of the Clans, but he wasn't on the alliegences, and he is never mentioned again, nor was it confirmed that he died. Sorry if this is counted as a typo. Those are some things that I noticed. Some of them aren't veyr weird, but I just wanted to post them here because I thought that they fit the catagory. Firestars mum is a brown and white tabby named nutmeg

Also, dunno if anyone's said this yet, but sometimes it says, "__________ grinned". Cats can't grin. All those weird photos of cats grinning are photoshopped.

Not sure if I've said this or not yet, but
Firestar had to have at least 5 littermates. During on of his first conversations with Princess both said brothers and sisters.
So Firestar had at least 2 brothers and 3 sisters (Princess said brothers and sisters, meaning there are 2 more she-kits from the litter.)
Somehow I don't think Firestar was the only adventurous kittypet in his family
