Hey there, last days I had a few questions or facts about the Warriors which are maybe interesting for a discussion here, who knows...
Fact/Question 1: Can StarClan choose which cat should be leader? Tigerstar obviously became his nine lives. So had StarClan nothing to do with this or had they trusted Tigerstar?
Fact/Question 2: Why is the combination in the leadership between two female cats so rarely? I´have read all books including Fading Echoes. But the only leadership who was between two female cats was in the RiverClan with Leopardstar and Mistyfoot. Why is this combination so rarely? Or is it just random?
Fact/Question 3: It´s not the Deputy the real leader? I think that the Deputy has more to do as the Leader. He orders patrols, goes on hunting partys and often leads his clanmates in the fight while the Leader just hang in the camp. It´s a little bit like the political situation in England I think. The Queen is the figurehead but makes no political decisions while the premier minister is the real head of the governmment. But i´m german not english so you can assess it probably better.
That should it be for the moment from me^^

Interesting.
#1 Star clan, in a way chooses the leader. With Firestar, spottedleaf told him that starclan was calling (referring to his calling to the position deputy and later leader). Same deal with Brambleclaw. Leafpool was given a sign that meant Brambleclaw should be the next deputy. In code of the clans, there was an instance where both leader and deputy died. a sign from starclan chose the next leader
#2 There are 2 other instances (Shadowclan: Lilystar and Sunntail. Riverclan: Birchstar and Solefur (Firestar's Quest). the most common combination is either 2 toms or one of each
#3 Something like that. The deputy is in charge of the day-to-day operation of the clan under the direction of the leader. The leader sees to relationships with other clans.

1. Hmmmmm..... 2. The she-cats should lead a revolt!!!!!!!! 3. Yep. Brambleclaw works his tail off and Firestar gets to have friendly chats with WindClan and ShadowClan.
Overall, you have noticed some very interesting things.....

I'm still holding to the theory that Star Clan gave Tigerstar 9 lives because they knew he was going to loose them to Scourge. 1 life for every one Tiger took.
1. Redtail 2. Runningwind 3. Swiftpaw (by feeding the dogs, Tiger saw to it that they stayed on thunderclan territory) 4. Brindleface 5. Bluestar 6. Stonefur (ordered his death) 7. Goorsepaw 8. Tiny (Starclan probably thought he killed the kitten that would later become Scourge. They wouldn't know what happened to him since two-leg place isn't there area) 9. This life was lost for those that would die because of the battle against bloodclan
Or 1 life for Cinderpelt's injury
